A common cause of faucet leaks is a faulty component: the three snap-fit tabs on the part do not align precisely with the corresponding notches in the ceramic disc, resulting in a slight misalignment. Consequently, the tabs are made slightly oversized, so you’ll need to measure the exact dimensions and trim off the excess material yourself.
