  • Pen Holder

This “Naruto Jacket Pen Holder” is my heartfelt tribute to the passionate, youthful spirit of “Naruto.”

At first, I simply wanted to create a “Naruto-themed item that can actually hold things”—not a figurine or a decorative pendant, but a practical little object that can be used every day and accompany you through your routine. I chose Naruto’s iconic orange-and-black jacket as the design reference: the high collar, zippered front, spiral pattern on the chest, Konoha forehead protector on the left arm, dual-pocket layout, and even the black piping along the cuffs and hem are all faithfully reproduced. To balance aesthetics with functionality, I designed the back as an open cylindrical tube—just the right size to hold pens, rulers, makeup brushes, and even small highlighters—much like how Naruto stores his dreams in the forehead protector on his chest, I’ve “stowed” everyday tools inside his jacket.

I printed it using PLA filament, applying a gradient effect to the orange sections to enhance the sense of depth and dimension; the spiral pattern and the forehead-protector emblem are accented with silver-gray to add subtle layers of detail. Although it’s just a pen holder, I deliberately carved a tiny groove inside the collar so that pens stay securely in place and won’t slip out—or scratch the pen barrels—a thoughtful touch for a “ninja tool.”

When I look at it standing in the corner of my desk, holding two pens, it feels as if Naruto is always ready to set off on a mission. In that moment, I realize it’s no longer just a stationery organizer; it’s become the “Seventh Team Member” on my desk. Every time I pick up a pen, it feels like I’m writing the “Way of the Ninja” of the future together with him.
