  • Water Ripples

Drawing inspiration from the dual ripple patterns formed as two droplets of water fall in succession, this design eschews superfluous ornamentation and instead employs fluid, undulating surfaces to craft a rich, three-dimensional texture across the bottle’s body—allowing the layered build lines of 3D printing to seamlessly blend with the organic, wave-like contours. The layer lines are meticulously aligned parallel to the bottle’s vertical long axis, perfectly echoing the natural flow of the ripple curves. In doing so, this man‑made object captures the dynamic fluidity and subtle ebb and flow of natural water patterns, rendering nuanced chiaroscuro effects as light dances across its surface—and imbuing the otherwise static form with an inherent rhythmic motion that feels as though water is gently coursing through it.

The product features a monolithic, support‑free design that is ideally suited for both FDM and resin-based stereolithography (SLA) 3D printing processes. With low print complexity and consistently reliable results, the bottle’s textured finish can be fully realized without the need for additional post‑processing—allowing the layer lines and intricate design details to merge harmoniously, faithfully reproducing every nuance of the original concept. Its muted, low‑saturation matte emerald green exudes a calm, natural ambiance, softening visual impact while effortlessly complementing a wide range of interior styles, including minimalist, wabi‑sabi, nature‑inspired, mid‑century modern, and contemporary aesthetics.

This piece serves as both a functional vase for fresh cut flowers and dried branches, perfectly showcasing the graceful, linear forms of single stems; yet it also stands beautifully as a standalone tabletop sculpture. With its naturally flowing dual ripple pattern, it infuses any space with a serene, relaxed sense of natural harmony—making it a truly versatile 3D‑printed tabletop accessory that strikes a perfect balance between aesthetic appeal and practical utility.

The model incorporates drainage holes, making it ideal for planting soil‑grown specimens.
