The 3D-printed design of the Dongfeng-61 missile Q-version model centers on “cute reinterpretation and practical adaptability.” Breaking away from the conventional stern aesthetic of military models, it adopts a Q-style design: the missile body is proportionally shortened, the warhead is rendered as a smooth semicircle, and the tail fins are simplified into compact triangles, with soft, rounded lines that soften the mechanical feel.
A key feature is the built-in strong magnetic block (8×3 mm) in the nose, with tight tolerances to ensure secure magnetic attachment without the need for glue.
The overall dimensions are kept at approximately 9 cm in height and 6 cm in width, making it compatible with magnetic surfaces such as refrigerators and blackboards.
Printing tips:
1. Clean the print bed before printing to ensure strong adhesion; consider using a glass bed and prioritize official, dried filaments.
2. Be sure to apply adhesive when assembling parts to ensure a firm bond and seamless fit.
3. Default settings are optimized for PLA filament; if using silk, marble, PETG, or other filaments, reconfigure the slicing parameters accordingly.
