In return, the healer himself fell to the blade of one of the gang’s enforcers. That fateful encounter shattered him utterly: he personally disbanded the Blood Fang Gang, executed every core member who refused to turn away from their ways, and set out alone across the Wasteland as a penitent wanderer. He now dedicates himself to protecting lone scavengers, children, and merchant caravans—hunting down vicious raiders and using the rest of his days to atone for the sins he once committed. He never seeks to justify his past, nor does he dare hope for forgiveness; all he knows is that each life he saves brings him one step closer to redeeming his guilt.
