Design Concept

This design leverages the smartphone’s flash to transform it into a portable outdoor lighting solution. With its straightforward construction, users simply place their phone inside the light to enjoy reliable, bright illumination.

Applications

Perfect for providing temporary lighting during outdoor camping trips and hiking adventures, this light can also serve as an atmospheric ambient light for home use.

Printing Recommendations

We recommend using PLA or PETG filaments to ensure both durability and optimal light transmission. The lampshade can be printed with clear material—or you may opt for colored transparent filaments—and we suggest setting the layer height to 0.2 mm while using a minimum infill density of 20% to enhance structural stability.

Assembly Instructions

After printing, assembly is quick and easy: the handle is crafted from a length of filament, which can be inserted one end first, then gently heated with a lighter before being pushed into the handle socket—allowing the filament to fuse seamlessly with the adjacent section.
