I really enjoyed reading “Lychees of Chang’an” before.
This double-layered jar looks like a great item.
So I decided to recreate it, using it to store lychees.
The model is scaled at 55% of the original size. In practice, it can hold two lychees with a chest diameter of less than 34 mm; larger ones won’t fit, so you’d need to print a bigger version.
I manually added supports to the main body of the jar, so no additional support structures were required—this saves material. After printing, simply remove the supports carefully with needle-nose pliers.
The lid fits relatively loosely; if you need a tighter seal, I can make further adjustments.
