Regarding lighting accessories:

I used a touch‑sensing switch module here, which I designed to be mounted on the monkey’s head. Testing showed that simply touching the top of the monkey’s head can smoothly turn the light on and off.

I purchased this type of sensor‑light kit (keyword search: wireless touch‑sensing module or mirror desk lamp circuit board). When buying, be sure to tell the seller you need a longer sensing wire—otherwise, like me, you’ll have to extend it yourself (TAT). As for the LED strip, choose a thinner one; mine was slightly too thick, so a 1‑meter length would’ve been sufficient.

Regardingtouch‑switch installation:

First thread the <wire> through the monkey’s head, body, tail, connecting ball, and finally to the circuit board. Then affix the <sensor sticker> to the top of the monkey’s head. Install everything in this order, and you’re all set.

RegardingLED strip installation:

For the moon interior, I arranged it like this: simply adhere the LED strip along the groove lining the inner edge of the moon.

Regardingadhesive:

You may use glue as needed for the monkey’s tail, but since the moon’s facade features a snap‑fit structure, I don’t recommend using adhesive—it makes future maintenance much easier.
