Target audience: 3D printing enthusiasts who frequently purchase filaments from different brands, want to compare actual print colors, wish to organize their own color‑code library, or plan to create a portable color‑card set.

This color‑card set was created using Tuzhu slicing software; the text can be edited directly within Tuzhu.

However, when opened in Ailaoke software, the text cannot yet be edited directly, and it will still appear on the model.

If you need to customize brand names, color codes, material types, or other details, we recommend recreating or adjusting the text yourself, manually aligning it to the correct positions, and then printing. Once saved, the file can be used indefinitely.

The storage structure includes long rods and hollow cylinders of two different thicknesses.

One long rod can hold approximately 20 color cards.

For standard storage, simply secure both ends with slightly flattened hollow cylinders.

If you’d like to extend the length further, you can connect two rods using thicker hollow cylinders.

To ensure smooth rotation of the color cards and facilitate repeated insertion and removal of the end cylinders, I deliberately avoided making the fit overly tight.

When spinning the set for stress relief, please avoid swinging too vigorously to prevent the end cylinders from popping out.

Key features of this model:

  1. Unified dimensions across multiple brands
Perfect for organizing commonly used filament brands—such as Tuzhu, Polymaker, Aliz, R3D, Jayo, and others—into a single color‑card system.
  2. Editable text

The text is already embedded on the color cards and can be printed directly for viewing. Since the file was generated using Tuzhu slicing software, the text remains editable within Tuzhu; however, when opened in Ailaoke, direct editing is currently unavailable. Users who wish to update the information to reflect their own filament brands can re‑add the text and realign it manually.

  3. Rotatable storage design

I’ve specially designed long rods and hollow cylinders as the storage mechanism. Each rod can accommodate about 20 color cards, which neatly stack together when not in use and can be easily spread out for quick color‑checking.

  4. Extendable connection option

For everyday use, secure both ends with slightly flattened hollow cylinders. If you have more color cards and want to join two rods, you can use thicker hollow cylinders as connectors.

  5. Spins freely and doubles as a stress‑relief toy

To allow smoother rotation and make it easier to repeatedly insert and remove the end cylinders, I intentionally kept the assembly relatively loose. Spinning feels quite satisfying, but please exercise caution when tossing it around to avoid accidentally dislodging the end cylinders.
