A purely mechanical lock is achieved by inserting a pin through the locking tabs on both the body and the lid, providing a secure closure with no looseness and enhanced protection against accidental opening—unaffected by plastic aging. The interior space can accommodate 2–3 standard-sized swivel or plug-in USB flash drives, and the corners are rounded for portability and scratch resistance. Designed to work seamlessly with FDM printing, it requires no complex supports, resulting in a high print success rate. Assembly involves only four M2 screws, making it a practical solution to the common problem of loose, easily lost USB drives. The M2 screws are 2 cm long.
