            ACEPRO has several sealing issues, one of which involves the internal PCB components relying on a fan to draw external air through ventilation openings for cooling.

           Even when the device is not operating, the fan vent at this location continues to allow humid outdoor air to enter.

            

            Based on this issue, I designed a simple gravity-operated check valve damper.

            1. When ACEPRO is running, the PCB cooling fan activates, creating negative pressure at the valve that pulls the damper open and draws in external air.

            2. When ACEPRO stops running, the fan shuts off, the negative pressure disappears, and the damper closes naturally under gravity, preventing external air and moisture from entering the interior of ACEPRO.  

            3. To install the check valve on ACEPRO, we recommend using double-sided tape or other adhesive; drilling holes and screwing the valve directly into the enclosure is not advised.

            4. The check valve itself can be assembled using just a single filament of any FDM-compatible material.
