  • Phoenix Among Peonies

The phoenix, hailed as the “King of Birds,” is adorned with iridescent plumage and sings like a bamboo flute, embodying auspiciousness and purity; the peony, on the other hand, is revered as the “Queen of Flowers,” exuding regal elegance when in full bloom, symbolizing the pinnacle of wealth and prosperity.
When the phoenix’s graceful dynamism meets the peony’s lush abundance, the painting transcends a mere depiction of flowers and birds to become a complete world of cherished aspirations. The phoenix represents nobility and good fortune, while the peony signifies glory and riches; together, they convey the profound meaning of “all birds paying homage to the phoenix, and blossoms bringing wealth and prosperity.”

This model takes precisely such a scene—“all birds paying homage to the phoenix, and blossoms bringing wealth and prosperity”—as its theme, resulting in a set of pen holders with octagonal cross-sections available in three sizes.

The large size has a diagonal outer dimension of 96 mm and a height of 120 mm; the medium size measures 80 mm diagonally and stands 100 mm tall; the small size features a 64-mm diagonal and a height of 80 mm.

Please note that manual measurements may have slight deviations; the actual dimensions shall prevail.

The small and medium sizes are suitable as standard pen holders, while the large size can serve not only as a pen holder but also as a chopstick holder or a cutlery storage container, seamlessly blending aesthetics with practicality.

Through numerous printing tests, we’ve found that a print speed of 60 mm/s works particularly well for silk-like filaments: speeds too high can cause the filament to lose its silky sheen, whereas speeds too low require significantly more time, making the trade-off unfavorable. If you’re printing non-silk filaments, you can download the file and adjust the print speed accordingly before printing.

Another important consideration when using an octagonal spiral infill pattern is that, due to the frequent turns, the flow rate should be reduced to between 0.95 and 0.97; otherwise, the surface finish will be extremely uneven. This is especially true when using multi-color filaments: reducing the flow rate while employing the octagonal spiral infill produces strikingly beautiful textured patterns on both the bottom and top surfaces.

We plan to release more fun, engaging, and practical designs in the future.
We hope you’ll enjoy them—your support is the greatest motivation for me to keep creating.
