Product Introduction

This is a modular shrimp-trapping tool specially designed for aquariums, consisting of a main tank and a detachable top cover. Leveraging shrimp’s natural burrowing behavior, the inverted funnel-shaped design of the top cover guides shrimp into the tank. The tank body and top cover are densely perforated with square and round holes, facilitating water flow and scent exchange, making it a safe and efficient tool for capturing black-shell shrimp, rice shrimp, and other utility or ornamental shrimp—ideal for algae removal, isolation, or transfer as a manual device.

Design Highlights

1. Detachable Modular Design: Features a split structure of “main tank + dedicated top cover.” The top cover can be easily unscrewed or removed, simplifying shrimp collection, cleaning, and reconfiguration while eliminating the operational inconvenience associated with traditional one-piece tanks.

2. Efficient Funnel-Shaped Inlet: The interior of the top cover is designed as an inverted funnel (flared opening), with a wide entrance that narrows inward, aligning with shrimp behavioral patterns to effectively guide shrimp deep into the tank and significantly reduce their escape rate.

3. Omni-Directional Perforated Structure: The main tank body is densely perforated with vertical rectangular holes, while the top cover and tank bottom feature a dense array of small circular holes. This multi-directional, high-density perforation design ensures thorough exchange of water, odors, and even faint light, enhancing trapping efficiency and eliminating dead zones in water flow.

4. Stable Base and Stackable Design: The bottom of the top cover features a flat, circular rim that serves as a stable base when the tank is placed, ensuring secure positioning. The standard cylindrical shape also allows multiple tanks to be stacked for compact storage, saving space.
