Design Concept

The 86 switch and socket splash-proof cover features a simple yet functional design that delivers effective water resistance. The curved shape of the outer shell facilitates rapid water runoff and evaporation, effectively preventing water ingress and extending the service life of the socket. A drainage groove is incorporated into the inner compartment to channel any water droplets that may seep in from the top.

Applications

This protective cover is designed for installation on 86-type switches and sockets used outdoors or in damp environments, providing waterproof protection under rainy conditions or in humid surroundings.

Printing Recommendations

Use materials with good heat resistance and water impermeability, such as ABS or PLA. To ensure optimal waterproof performance, we recommend using a higher infill density and reducing the layer height.

Assembly Instructions

Before installing the socket, verify that the cover’s dimensions are compatible with the standard 86 socket and that it is securely mounted to the wall. Press the switch and socket panel firmly onto the base, then align the cover with the mounting holes on the base. Once aligned, simply snap the cover into place by engaging the tabs on the cover’s edges.
