With global flash memory prices recently surging, we’ve dusted off some aging 3.5‑inch hard drives to give them a new lease on life.

We’re offering two models:

The first is a quick‑release enclosure designed around a 2.5‑inch USB 3.0 mobile hard drive enclosure, while the second is a simple hard drive dock.

The DC female connector is used for external 12V power input and must be connected to a dedicated hard drive adapter cable (pinout information provided).

The first model uses M1.5–2mm screws, whereas the second employs M3 screws—standard hardware suitable for mechanical hard drives.

Material requirements are clearly indicated in the diagrams. Please note that 3.5‑inch mechanical hard drives demand a stable 12V power supply; we recommend using a high‑quality power adapter rated at 12V and 2A or higher.
