This power bank is built around a commonly available 3516/3518 multi‑protocol buck converter chip.
It supports automatic switching between internal and external power sources, and the battery compartment can accommodate up to six 18650 cells—though you’re free to configure the cell arrangement as needed; for example, I opted for a 3S2P configuration with a dedicated 3S protection board.
The design includes a 9×14 mm ship‑type switch for power control and an 11×12 mm DC female connector for both charging and discharging (using the same port).
Both the top and bottom covers feature vented cooling slots, but the module generates significant heat—so it’s recommended to operate within a maximum output of 65 W.
