Introduction:
Online marketplaces often offer display bases for figurines—either made of wood and priced quite high, or so expensive they’re simply out of reach.
By contrast, DIY glass-bottle bases are both affordable and highly practical: crystal-clear, they keep your miniature figurines dust-free while adding a touch of elegance to your collection.
The Base Components
(Note: Aside from the base itself, all other components must be purchased separately; detailed images are provided below.)
- Base: The white base was printed using marble‑colored PLA—it looks absolutely stunning.
- O-Ring: With an outer diameter of 50 mm and a wire thickness of 4.0 mm, it’s the perfect fit.
- Glass Bottle: Measuring 5.5 cm in diameter, this is actually a standard drinking glass—ideal for holding your figurines securely.
How to Use:
Simply slide the O-ring onto the base’s recessed groove, then twist the glass bottle securely into place.
Customize with Different Base Colors
You can also drill holes in the base to mount acrylic rods for added versatility.
