When using the Mijia desk lamp, users often find the light to be a bit harsh. To address this, we’ve designed a simple, snap‑fit shade that can be used to diffuse and soften the light.
With just 25g of filament and a print time of under an hour, we utilized the filament as a pivot point—first printing the snap‑fit components to test the filament’s tension and adjust the clearance or scaling ratio until the desired precision was achieved.

Assembly is straightforward:

First, gather all the printed parts and a single spool of filament.
Thread the filament through the snap‑fit component and the shade.
The remaining steps are identical.
Simply snap the shade into place on the Mijia desk lamp’s light bar.
