When using laptops, users often need a vertical laptop stand—typically either with a fixed width or featuring screw‑adjustable clamping plates to accommodate different thicknesses. To address this, I designed a simple, material‑efficient laptop stand that automatically adapts to various laptop thicknesses while providing a secure, self‑clamping grip. The stand is optimized for a maximum adaptability of 25 mm; if you’re using a gaming laptop that requires additional thickness, you can scale up the model dimensions accordingly. The design employs a single‑piece, one‑step molding process, eliminating the need for assembly—once printed, it’s ready to use right out of the printer. After testing several iterations, I settled on the version that delivered the best combination of strength and versatility.
