Shanhai Jing Mecha Series 139 – “Congcong”-Style Armed Artillery Armored Vehicle (Revised)

This series features mechas inspired by mythical creatures from the Shanhai Jing. In addition, there are Bagua Mechas (based on renowned mountains and rivers across China’s provinces, such as Chaohu Lake, Mount Lishan, Badaling, and Namtso Lake) and Mythical Mechas (modeled after legendary figures like Sun Wukong, Yang Jian, and the Ox Demon King).

The Shanhai Jing series is further subdivided into multiple sub‑series, including: Biological Form Series, Mechanical Form Series, Fighter Jet Series, Aircraft Series, Warship Series, Combat Vehicle Series, Main Battle Tank Series, Multi‑Purpose Engineering Armored Vehicle Series, Rotary Engineering Armored Vehicle Series, Engineering Armored Truck Series, Military Armored Train Series, and more.

Simple to print, easy to assemble, lightweight yet sturdy, highly detailed, quick to build, resistant to breakage, no need for support structures during printing, and no glue required for assembly!

Note: 1. If the parts are too tight to fit together by hand, simply use the tool hammer provided on the homepage—align it with the locking tabs and gently tap them into place.

        2. To prevent print failures, it’s best to apply a thin layer of adhesive or a light mist of release agent to the print bed—most issues with failed prints stem from an overly smooth print surface.

Prints require no supports (though if your build plate isn’t adhesive, you can add a skirt around the base yourself), and assembly doesn’t call for glue or hardware—just apply firm pressure or give a gentle tap with a small mallet if parts feel a bit snug. This is a truly convenient Chinese‑style assembly model!

Congcong:

A mythical beast from ancient Chinese mythology. It resembles a dog but has six legs, and its cry sounds exactly like its own name.
“Three hundred li to the south lies Mount Xunzhuang, where gold and jade abound above, while azure and verdant stones flourish below. There dwells a beast that looks like a dog, with six feet—and it is called Congcong, whose cry itself is a call.” —Shanhai Jing, East Mountain Classic
