Step 1 - Adjust the 3D file (optional)

The diameter of the dowels used in this project is 30 mm for the largest ones and 20 mm for the smallest.

Note: If you want your coat rack to be shorter, you don’t need to modify the 3D model. Simply cut a dowel shorter than the one used in the 3D design.

Step 2 - Print all parts

Note: You must set the ridge connectors at a specific angle in your slicer (49.916°) (see photos)

Step 3 - Drill the mounting holes for the five feet

Pre-drill the mounting holes for the five feet, then screw the feet onto the furniture (you’ll need to unscrew the feet for the next step).

Step 4 - Assemble the rack

The idea for this step is to assemble the structure “dry-fit” first, then attach the feet into the pre-drilled holes (always keeping the assembly structure intact). If you try to assemble everything directly onto the feet already fixed to the furniture, you’ll place excessive stress on the 3D-printed components, risking breakage.
