A 3D printable bobbin for the E.R Cole double drive spinning wheel, or similar.

Running a double drive setup means the ratio between the bobbin's pulley diameter and the whorl's pulley diameter must be just right, in order to draw the fibre onto the bobbin at a suitable rate.

If you wish to adapt this, for another double drive spin wheel, you may need to do some minor tweaking in your slicer.

 

This bobbin prints in two parts, which then push together with a tad of glue. 

If you have problems with the drive band jumping off the bobbin, it may be that the bobbin's pulley is not aligned with the drive band. This can be solved with some felt packers (see image).

 

Print this with the flat sides down. The smaller bit needs supports where the larger bit slots into it.
