This hamster house draws its design inspiration from acorns found in nature, featuring a round, softly curved silhouette that exudes charm and cuteness. The structure comprises a rounded base paired with a mushroom-shaped top lid equipped with a handle, faithfully recreating the natural form of an acorn. This enclosed design caters to hamsters’ innate instincts to burrow and hide, offering them a secure, private retreat where they can feel safe and at ease.

Printing Requirements

- Recommended Filaments: PLA or PETG. Both materials are non-toxic and environmentally friendly—PLA delivers high printing accuracy and excellent surface finish, while PETG is more resistant to chewing and boasts superior toughness, making it an ideal choice for energetic, active hamsters.
- Printing Settings: We recommend using a layer height of 0.2 mm to ensure a smooth surface. A fill density of 15–20% strikes the perfect balance between structural integrity and material cost. To ensure safety during chewing, allow the print to cool completely after printing and carefully sand down any sharp edges, burrs, or visible layer lines.
- Size Reference: The finished product typically measures about 8–10 cm in diameter and 12–14 cm in height, making it suitable for dwarf hamsters and bear‑type hamsters.
