  • Kintsugi

Kintsugi is a porcelain repair technique originating in China. At its core, it involves bonding broken ceramic pieces with natural lacquer and embellishing the seams with gold powder or gold leaf. For flower pots, this craft not only extends the object’s lifespan but also imbues it with a Zen-inspired “beauty of imperfection.”

By leveraging 3D modeling and printing, we can recreate the kintsugi process. This small tabletop flower pot can be used to display moss, miniature rockeries, or other decorative elements, and it also serves as a versatile storage container.
