What’s Included?

This kit is designed as a direct replacement for the internal drive and external protection systems:

• Complete Gearbox Assembly: Includes the 69T Bevel Gear, the 5.75 to 1 Reduction Gearbox, and both the Left and Right Gearbox Covers.
• Spreader Disc: The main centrifugal disc for consistent product distribution.
• Front Edge Guard: To prevent fertilizer or seed from hitting your driveway or flower beds.
• Hub Caps / Center Caps: Protective "Scotts" branded caps to keep debris out of the wheel assemblies.

Assembly Instructions

1. Gearbox: Pack the printed gearbox with a generous amount of marine-grade or lithium grease before sealing the left and right covers. This reduces friction and extends the life of the 3D-printed teeth.
2. Hardware: This kit is designed to utilize the original metal shafts from the Scotts Elite spreader.
3. Fitment: Some light sanding may be required on the gear teeth depending on your printer's tolerances to ensure a smooth "break-in" period.
