Custom-designed chess set blends the strategic depth of the medieval game with the rugged, mythological aesthetic of the Viking Age. Each piece is meticulously detailed, transitioning the traditional Staunton silhouettes into iconic Norse figures.

The King: A towering, bearded patriarch leaning on a broadsword, draped in heavy furs and crowned in iron. He exudes the presence of a legendary Jarl.
The Queen: A Shield-maiden queen, elegant yet formidable. Her stoic pose and long, flowing cloak suggest a leader who is as much at home on the battlefield as she is in the great hall.
The Bishop (The Berserker/Advisor): A seasoned warrior wielding a heavy bearded axe. He represents the specialized power and reaching strike of the Bishop's role.
The Knight (The Raider): A heavily armored warrior with a round shield and nasal helm, ready for the tactical flanking maneuvers the Knight is known for.
The Rook (The Longship): A brilliant thematic choice—the iconic Drakkar. With its dragon-headed prow and furled sail, it perfectly captures the "fortress" of the seas.
