• Palm Wind Technique: By slapping the ground with both palms, it can generate a three-zhang-high wave of qi, once helping a woodcutter drive off mountain bandits (after which it invariably uses its sticky saliva to repair the thatched hut that was trampled down).
• Gazing Through Illusions: Its single eye emits both golden and blue light, capable of shattering illusory realms and subduing evil spirits (it once exposed a fox spirit disguised as a scholar, but let it go because the other party was simply too handsome).
