Description

This filament guide is designed for the Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 CANVAS system.

It moves the filament pull point lower and farther away from the printer, so the pulling force acts closer to the center of each spool instead of pulling strongly inward toward the printer.

This can help reduce:

• filament crossing on the spool
• side loading on the winding
• tangles caused by inward pull

The design is modular and optimized for FDM printing.

Print notes

• tested on Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2
• the shown print was made with Rapid PETG
• the included 3MF file contains the intended print layout
• only two small supports are required for the frame part
• no large support structures are needed

Parts included

• 1 frame
• 2 side arms
• 1 front guide bar

Assembly

1. Print all parts.
2. Remove the two small supports from the frame.
3. Assemble the side arms and the front guide bar.
4. Slide the guide onto the CANVAS unit.
5. Route the filament strands through the guide loops.
6. Check alignment and make sure all filament paths move freely.

Notes

This is a functional print made to solve a real spool tangling problem in daily use.
