Kongming Chess

Kongming Chess, also known as Independent Diamond Chess or Single Noble Chess, is said to have been invented by the famous strategist Zhuge Liang during the Three Kingdoms period. With simple rules yet a strong emphasis on logical thinking, it is a widely popular classic single-player puzzle game.

Basic Gameplay

• The board is typically cross-shaped or circular, densely populated with small holes, starting from the central empty space.

• Pieces can only jump over adjacent pieces and land in an empty hole.

• Any piece that is jumped over must be immediately removed.

• Objective: Eliminate as many pieces as possible, leaving only one piece at the end—ideally positioned in the very center.
