The Temple of Heaven’s Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, with the highest level of structural fidelity at the same scale!
Due to the large print area and lengthy printing time, to avoid unnecessary losses, it is essential to complete the following three steps before printing:
1. Level the print bed. 2. Thoroughly clean the print bed. 3. Maintain a stable ambient temperature as much as possible; if necessary, raise the bed temperature to prevent warping at the edges.
Design notes: This model is a further scaled-down version of my “1:30 Full Mortise-and-Tenon Reproduction of the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests”. Due to the overall size, the interlocking bracket structures have been merged into a single unit, but the external appearance remains highly faithful. The first tier features five-tier brackets, the second tier seven-tier brackets, and the third tier nine-tier brackets; careful observation still reveals the distinction between the piers and the column capitals. The internal structure, which is not visible from the outside, has been simplified to save time while achieving better lighting effects. My only regret is that I have yet to find a light source that satisfies all requirements—issues such as heat generation when powered via USB and limited battery life remain unresolved… The light source currently used is 10.8 mm in diameter and 15 mm high; it is inexpensive and can be purchased independently. For the plaques, I recommend using a 0.2 mm nozzle.
Multi-color filament options: Personally, I suggest using silk blue for the roof tiles, vermilion or silk red for doors and windows, white or stone-colored tones for the steps, and wood tones for the brackets, beams, and rafters.
Assembly: You can refer to my actual photos for assembly instructions. The eave columns are pre-drilled with holes, allowing you to directly insert 5 mm-long filament rods to connect the components. The assembly steps have been uploaded, and the high-definition renderings can be zoomed in to examine the details.
