I lost one of these small parts and, since I couldn’t find it among the official printable parts for the Prusa XL, I decided to recreate it for a quick and easy replacement.

The model is designed to be simple and reliable to print, allowing you to restore functionality without waiting for spare parts.

Printing Recommendations

• Material: PETG or PC

  (Recommended: Prusament PC Blend for best strength and heat resistance)
   

• Layer height: 0.1 – 0.15 mm

Because this is a very small part, it is recommended to print at least 2 or 3 pieces at the same time. Printing multiple parts allows each layer to cool properly before the next one is deposited, reducing the risk of deformation.

Tolerances and Fit

Feel free to slightly scale the model to better match your printer and material tolerances.
As provided, the part has a good grip, but it is slightly less tight than the original one.
If you need a stronger hold, you can scale the model down by 1–2% to increase the grip.
