Compact Angled Hex Pen Holder – Minimal Desk Organizer

A compact pen holder designed to keep pens easy to grab while staying stable on the desk.

The hexagonal slots are angled outward so pens are easier to see and grab, while the low-profile body keeps the center of gravity low so the holder remains stable even when holding heavier pens or markers.

The domed top surface and subtle side groove give the holder a clean, minimal look that fits well on a desk without taking up much space.

This design prints without supports and works well on most FDM printers.

Pen Fit

The slots are sized to accommodate most common pens and pencils including:

• Wooden pencils
• Ballpoint pens
• Gel pens
• Mechanical pencils
• Many markers

Larger markers may also fit depending on diameter.

Printing

Recommended settings:

• Layer height: 0.12-0.16 mm
• Walls: 3–4
• Infill: 15–20% (Adaptive Cubic works well)
• Supports: None required

Notes

The angled holes make pens easier to grab and spread them out slightly so they don't crowd each other.

If you prefer a tighter fit for thinner pens, the model can easily be scaled slightly in the XY plane.
