For the Easter 3d printing fest contest, I designed an object where form and function are fused into a single body.

Unlike standard lamps where aesthetic elements are merely decorative additions, this bunny’s pose was natively conceived to cradle and "embrace" the technical core: the E14 bulb socket. The curvature of the paws and the torso's inclination are not just stylistic choices; they constitute the actual load-bearing structure, demonstrating the true "structural innovation" required by the contest.

Technical & Creative Highlights:

  • Integrated Design: The candle-shaped bulb fits perfectly between the upright ears, completing a slender silhouette.
  • Tactile Experience (Fuzzy Skin): Applied to hide 3D printing layer lines and create a soft-touch texture that simulates real fur.
  • Seasonal Magic: A piece that transforms a functional object into a whimsical companion for the spring season.

🛠 Assembly Guide & Technical Specs

The model is designed to host a standard E14 Socket. To achieve a perfect "flush" fit as shown in the renders, please follow these steps:

  1. Socket Preparation: The internal housing is optimized for smooth E14 sockets.
    • Note: If your socket has a mounting ring (threaded collar) at the bottom, simply remove it. For a professional result, we recommend sanding down any remaining plastic ridges until the base of the socket is flush.
  2. Wiring: Pass the cable through the internal channel starting from the base. Wire the socket before inserting it into the bunny.
  3. Installation: Insert the wired socket from the top.
  4. Final Step: Gently screw the socket into place until it sits firmly in the bunny's "embrace."

[!IMPORTANT] Fitting Tip: Only use LED E14 bulbs (candle shape recommended). LED bulbs stay cool and prevent any overheating of the PLA/PETG structure.
