I tried my hand at designing a zero clearance insert for my miter saw.  It took a lot of test prints and refining the model but eventually I got there.

 

This model can print on a single plate and then slides together using the dovetails.

 

I used 7 walls and 25% infill so when I made the first cut, it went through solid plastic and not the infill.
