Print with no supports , I used a 0.6mm nozzle because I wanted mine printed in Flashforge Burnt Titanium (dark blue glitter) PLA, but you can print with 0.4mm nozzle all the same. Battery tolerances are 0.2mm as are stacked elements.
I was not happy with the width of the slots for the thinner CR2016 batteries so I sketched the dimensions and modeled another holder with a better fitment for thinner batteries. The numbers on this model are a bit larger but easier to read and adds “CR”. I also included variations for CR2025 and CR2032 because original models were same size and not measured to fit as well as the CR2016 model I threw together.
I also added a 30º angled platform to reduce wobble and increased the radius of the transition from the spindle to the base. Added a slight chamfer to the top lip of the base, above the numbers.
I couldn't really modify the existing mesh the way I wanted so I did recreate it manually. Now that I have redesigned 3, I could add models for any size that would fit within this profile. I don't have any more of these batteries, but I could add more at user request: https://www.microbattery.com/coin-cells
Oh, and I added a rounded cap.
