This is a new England style base trim for deck posts that is designed to snap together. Just print two and they snap together (it is the same part)

The original model used a corner snapping mechanism which works well but results in a filled in portion of the corner that will not allow any hardware to fit under it. Thus, I needed to adapt the model so that there was space under it so it could accommodate a post anchor. 

I also changed it so the “snap” portion will snap together on the sides instead of the corner. I think it is easier to hide the seam, but in the end it is a matter of preference.
