Nothing too surprising here. It's a chess board. 64 squares of alternating colors useful for games such as chess or checkers.
This design was inspired by bjared's Chess Board design that can be found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2825666.
What's different is that you don't need a multicolor printer to make this. Each square is designed to interlock with the adjacent squares. Just print 32 squares of one color and 32 of another then just assemble the board by alternating squares.
The squares are 50mm. The border pieces are 210mm x 210mm so you will need a print bed at least that large to print a complete board (unless you cut down border into smaller pieces). Remember, if you scale the print the clearance between pieces will decrease as well and this is already a snug fit.
The fitment of the pieces is designed to be a friction fit so that no glue is necessary. Although I would recommend gluing the pieces together. If you want to make the board easier to store you could just glue each quadrant together. Then when it is game time you just need to put the four sections together to make the board.
