If the screw is relatively long and prone to abrasion, you can print a protective screw cap and simply screw it onto the screw.

For screws with internal threads, you can easily tighten them by hand.

If the dovetail screw cap is too tight or too loose, you can try scaling it up or down proportionally, or apply a small amount of adhesive to secure it in place.
