✈️ Printable V-Tail Glider

A simple, lightweight, and highly customizable glider designed around a fully printable structure and a standard 6 mm square spar.

The entire aircraft can be built using 3D printed parts, making it an excellent project for experimentation, tuning, and learning basic aircraft design principles. 🛠️📚

The wing mount and tail mount can slide along the boom, allowing quick adjustments to the aircraft’s balance and flight characteristics without modifying any parts. ⚖️

🛩️ V-Tail Options

Two V-tail configurations are included:

📐 45° V-tail

📐 30° V-tail

This allows experimentation with different stability and handling characteristics while keeping the same airframe.

🪶 LW-PLA Compatible

The wing panels and tail surfaces (shown in red) are specifically designed to be printed in Vase Mode using LW-PLA.

⚖️ Adjustable Center of Gravity

A printable nose weight is included.

By modifying the infill percentage, different masses can be produced, allowing precise adjustment of the aircraft’s balance without requiring additional hardware.

Recommended starting point:

📍 CG ≈ 25% of the wing chord measured from the leading edge

Fine-tuning may be required depending on printing settings, material choice, and overall aircraft weight.
