Never run out of space on your laundry rack again! This 3D-printed extension arm is the perfect solution for those days when you have just a few more items than your rack can handle. It easily hooks onto the spokes of your existing drying rack to create extra hanging length.

📏 Two Size Options

To ensure a good fit for different brands of drying racks, I have provided two separate Print Profiles:

• Small Version: For rack spokes up to 6mm in diameter.
• Large Version: For rack spokes between 6mm and 8mm in diameter.

🛠️ Choose Your Length

Within each print profile, I have organized the parts onto different build plates:

• 29 cm Extension: A single-piece arm.
• 55 cm Extension: Two arm pieces including a dedicated connector to join them.

⚙️ Recommended Print Settings

This model has been tested and proven reliable with the following settings:

• Material: PLA (Tested and works great) or PETG.
• Walls: 4 Walls (Important for structural rigidity).
• Infill: 20% Gyroid.

⚠️ Usage & Safety Notes

• Light Laundry prefered: This extension is designed for light items like socks, underwear, or light t-shirts. Avoid hanging heavy items (like wet jeans or heavy towels) to prevent the extension arm from bending
• Check your Spokes: Do not mount this extension on very thin or flimsy spokes, as the leverage could cause them to bend. Always mount it near the main frame of the rack for maximum stability.
