 Rubber Band Plane Launcher

A simple and fun 3D printable launcher for foam planes, paper airplanes, lightweight gliders, and outdoor games! 🌤️

The launcher is mounted into the ground using a printed stake and locking nut, making it stable and easy to use almost anywhere — garden, beach, park, or backyard.

Perfect for kids, friends, family activities, or just launching planes as far as possible 🚀

🛠️ How it works

1. Push the printed stake into the ground.
2. Place the launcher stand onto the stake.
3. Tighten it using the printed nut.
4. Insert the rubber band.
5. Pull back the airplane and launch!

🔩 Installing the rubber band

The launcher uses a very simple locking system:

1. Find the rectangular hole on the side of the main launcher part.
2. Push the rubber band through the hole.
3. Screw in the printed nut.
4. The nut clamps the rubber band and locks it in place.

No glue, screws, or extra hardware needed 👍

⚠️ Important — mirrored parts

The parts are mirrored and must match correctly:

* Left Stand → only with Left Nut
* Right Stand → only with Right Nut

Do not mix left and right parts, otherwise the threads will not fit correctly.

Recommended maximum rubber band size:

* up to 4 × 4 mm cross-section
