My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior

This 3D model is a serene and detailed representation of the Virgin Mary during her pregnancy. Designed with a focus on grace and reverence, the figure captures a quiet, maternal moment that is both spiritually significant and artistically delicate.

Model Features

  • Subject Matter: A rare and touching depiction of the Pregnant Virgin Mary, often referred to as Our Lady of Expectation.
  • Anatomical Detail: The model features a gentle emphasis on her pregnant form, with her hands placed tenderly over her womb in a gesture of protection and reflection.
  • Drapery & Texture: The figurine is adorned in traditional flowing robes. The intricate "layering" effect of the garments provides excellent depth for 3D printing, allowing for beautiful light and shadow play on the finished surface.
  • Expression: The face is sculpted with a tranquil, contemplative expression and downward-cast eyes, embodying a sense of peace.

Technical Notes for Printing

  • Geometry: The vertical orientation and flowing lines make this model an ideal candidate for both FDM (for larger statues) and Resin (SLA/DLP) printing to capture the fine facial features and fabric folds.
  • Post-Processing: The smooth surfaces of the veil and dress are well-suited for sanding or vapor smoothing if a marble-like finish is desired.
  • Stability: The model features a solid, weighted base integrated into the flow of the robes, ensuring the figurine stands securely.

This model is perfect for religious collections, holiday displays (Advent), or as a meaningful gift celebrating motherhood and faith.
