Printing & Plate Configuration

This project is organized into three optimized build plates within the included .3mf file. For a complete set, print each plate as follows:

• Plate 1: Left Base (x2) – Contains the left-side housing.
• Plate 2:  Cover (x4) – Contains the threaded caps.
• Plate 3: Right Base (x2) – Contains the right-side housing.

Installation Instructions

1. Remove Bracket: Take the stock spool holder bracket off your Centauri Carbon 2.
2. Mount Box: Position the box base against the printer frame.
3. Secure Internal Bracket: Place the stock bracket inside the box and screw it through the internal mounting holes using the stock screws.
4. Reassemble Holder: Replace the spool holder onto the bracket.
5. Setup Filament:  Install PTFE tube through the designated guide. Feed filament through the tube and mount your spool
6. Add Desiccant: Place your silica packets directly into the lid.

7. Seal: Screw the lid onto the base to lock out moisture.

    The high-tolerance threaded interface is designed for a highly moisture-resistant seal. For enhanced environmental protection, you may apply a thin bead of silicone sealant or caulk to the base of the threads; allow it to fully cure before assembly to create a custom compression gasket.

• Layer Height: 0.2mm (recommended for thread performance)
