📖 Description

Prepare for liftoff! Give your Telecaster a Space-Age upgrade.

Why settle for a boring rectangle when you can have a rocket ship? This custom Rocket Control Plate is a tribute to retro-futurism and the golden age of sci-fi. Designed to fit the iconic Fender/Squier Telecaster, this plate replaces the standard part with a sleek, aerodynamic missile silhouette.

It’s the perfect modification for surf rock, psychobilly, or any player who wants their guitar to look as fast as they play.

Why this plate is "Out of this World":

  • Retro-Futuristic Aesthetic: Transforms your guitar into a mid-century masterpiece.
  • Precision Engineering: Designed to line up perfectly with standard Telecaster body routings.
  • Conversation Starter: Guaranteed to be the most unique part of your rig at the next gig.

🔧 Assembly & Shielding Instructions

To keep your signal clear as you travel through the stratosphere, follow these steps:

  1. Shielding: 3D-printed parts do not provide electrical shielding. Apply conductive copper tape to the entire underside of the rocket plate. Ensure the tape touches the metal bodies of your pots to ground the circuit and eliminate hum.
  2. Hardware Fit: Designed for standard pots and 3-way switches. If your components have slightly larger bushings, a quick touch-up with a 10mm drill bit or round file will provide a perfect fit.
  3. Mounting: Use your original mounting screws. To prevent stress on the plastic, hand-tighten only—no power tools needed!

🎨 Printing Tips

  • Material: Silver or Silk Silver PLA gives it that classic "polished aluminum" rocket look. Galaxy Black also looks incredible for a deep-space vibe.
  • Ironing: Highly recommended for the top surface to achieve a smooth, metallic sheen.
  • Perimeters: Use at least 4-5 walls to ensure the "fins" of the rocket are sturdy and won't snap.
  • Orientation: Print flat on the bed for the best structural integrity and surface finish.
