This sample plate allows you to quickly compare five different Fuzzy Skin patterns and variable parameters to determine the best settings for your own designs.
It's a compact LITE version of my other more comprehensive Fuzzy-Test, which has individual plates for each pattern type (separate download). The square plate is pretty thin, making it easy to stack with my compatible test plates while taking up very little storage space. To prevent it from tipping over, the plate includes two support feet on the back. Their attachment points are intentionally tiny, allowing them to break away cleanly and easily after printing.
Each grid column showcases one of the five Fuzzy Skin pattern types. The small sample grid blocks vary in pattern scale and thickness, allowing you to compare different settings at a glance. The variable parameters are listed at the front and all relevant settings on the back in more detail.
SLICER
The download includes different 3MF files. They share identical 3D geometry, but one was created in Bambu Studio, the other in OrcaSlicer. If you're using a compatible slicer, you can easily change the Fuzzy parameters for each individual block by selecting it from the object list. All text labels are also editable. In the slicer I used the free font “Montserrat”. Alternatively, you can use the blank STL for different slicers or other types of tests.
