Movement & Speed (Detail Preservation)

To prevent "blooming" or suction force artifacts on the large heart and base:

  • Bottom Lift Speed: 45 mm/min (Slow and steady)
  • Lifting Speed: 50 mm/min (Reduced speed prevents fine details from snapping)
  • Retract Speed: 150 mm/min
  • Lifting Distance: 7 mm (Ensures the vacuum seal is broken between layers)

Important Slicing Tips for this Model

  1. Orientation: Tilt the model backward at about a 30° to 45° angle. This prevents the large flat "base" and the "big heart" from creating a massive suction force (suction cup effect) that could fail the print.
  2. Supports: * Use Light Supports for the faces of the bears and the roses to avoid visible pockmarks.
    • Use Heavy Supports at the very bottom of the base where they won't be seen.
  3. Hollowing: Since the central heart and base are thick, I highly recommend hollowing the model (2.0 mm wall thickness). If you do this, you must add two drain holes at the bottom to prevent uncured resin from being trapped inside, which could crack the model later.
  4. Anti-Aliasing (AA): Set AA to Level 4 or 8 with "Grey Level" at 0. This will make the rounded surfaces of the hearts look like injection-molded plastic.
