Description:

I was thinking about a way to recycle scraps when I thought of the maracas I used to play with as a child. I browsed the MakerWorld catalog and noticed various round and ovoid models, so I decided to try creating a slightly unusual-shaped version that could also be used as a toy mallet ;)

Printing Instructions:

No supports are required for printing. I set the print mode to object-based, so I could print the head and handle of the maraca in different colors without producing large amounts of waste.

Assembly Instructions:

Once printing is complete, simply fill the maraca head with print scraps or other small objects (beans, rice, sand, balls, etc.) and then screw on the handle.

Post-processing:

The model doesn't require any special post-printing care; at most, you may notice some stringing inside the head threads (it seems to depend on the quality of the filament used), but I've noticed that this is eliminated simply by screwing on the handle.
