!READ BEFORE PRINTING!

This is a custom project I have been working on and wanted to share with others to either check out and provide feedback or maybe print themselves, this RC Car is nowhere near perfect or entirely capable… but I can confirm after hours of messing around with CAD and reprinting parts over and over again for just the right fitment… It does in fact run and drive pretty good with the components in it. I wanted this car to be able to drift and so by using TPU tires and a high speed motor with a 1:3 gear ratio I was able to accomplish that! I am not done with this project and will periodically be updating this post with modified parts and hopefully some print configurations for easier printing and assembling. I also hope in the future to provide an assembly and demonstration video.

The following RC Car and all of its parts are specifically designed and fit for the following components:

• Traxxas BL-2s [ESC]
• R7FG [Receiver]
• Traxxas BL-2s - 3300 [Motor]
• Traxxas 7.4v - 3,000mah - 2 cell LiPo [Battery]
• Traxxas Waterproof 2075 [Servo]

I pulled all of these components out of a Traxxas Slash with the Bl-2s Drivetrain and bought a separate receiver from amazon. Other RC car parts will also have a pretty decent chance of fitting as long as they are similar to the parts listed above.

Materials in this project: 

• PLA-CF: Used for stronger parts
