This is a 3D-printed model inspired by the Chuihua Gate of Beijing’s traditional courtyard houses—known as siheyuan. The Chuihua Gate is one of the most distinctive gate designs in the siheyuan, serving as the boundary between the inner and outer courtyards while also standing as one of the most elaborately decorated structures within the complex.

The model faithfully reproduces the core architectural features of the Chuihua Gate: the roof adopts either the traditional hard-gable or suspended-gable style, with the intricate tile ridge patterns meticulously replicated; the door itself is a pair of solid, double‑leaf doors adorned with door clappers; flanking the gate are drum-shaped stone supports, and though the hanging flower ornaments beneath the eaves have been miniaturized, they still retain the delicate, refined details characteristic of Chinese architecture. The overall design is rendered in warm brown tones, leveraging 3D printing technology to bring to life the traditional craftsmanship of mortise-and-tenon joints, carved ornamentation, and other signature techniques—capturing both the aesthetic essence of siheyuan architecture and showcasing the seamless integration of modern intelligent manufacturing with time‑honored intangible cultural heritage.
