Elegant Winter Decor: Modern Paper Christmas Tree Set

 

A modern take on Christmas trees, but with a traditional twist: baubles and star-shaped tree toppers!

This is continuation of my papercraft inspired line of designs, this time with a mix of modern and traditional elements.

 

Design Details:

The trees can be printed as a set or individually. The stars are provided in 2 different designs and printed with a peg and fit loosely in the top hole of the Christmas Trees. The “baubles” are provided in 3 sizes, press-fit mounted and can be arrange in any way you'd like!

  • Trees:
    • Tall: 17cm with 2cm star
    • Medium: 11cm with 1.5cm star
    • Short: 8.5cm with 1.5cm star
  • Stars:
    • Big: 2cm diameter, angular design
    • Small: 1.5cm diameter, rounded corners and flat face
  • Baubles:
    • Large: 10mm
    • Medium: 6.5mm
    • Small: 5mm

Printing recommendations:

  • Trees: PLA Green
  • Stars: PLA Silk Gold is perfect for tree topper
  • Baubles: I went with PLA Silk Gold for mine, but I highly recommend testing other colors (like PLA Silk Dual Color)

Note: do not scale the designs as that may lead to troubles with getting elements to fit or even print correctly.
